reports are a requirement for most rented properties and some
insurance companies.
For new home buyers with
wiring over 10 years old a report carried out before you buy would
give a clear condition of the electrical installation which could
influence your offer.

Rented Dwellings = 5
years or change of tenant
Commercial Property
= 5
years
Industrial Property
